A Dream Turned Reality
For years, the idea of writing a book lived quietly in the back of my mind, a “someday” dream. I knew I wanted to share Human Design in a way that bridged spirituality with practical business strategy. But the leap from idea to reality? That felt like a mountain.
Fast forward to today: I’m weeks away from holding my very first book in my hands, Creating Your Aligned Business: A Step-by-Step Guide to Purpose and Profit through Your Human Design, published by Human Design Press. Even typing that gives me chills.
The Unplanned Pitch
The path to a book deal wasn’t polished or perfectly planned, it was messy, surprising, and divinely aligned. At a Human Design conference, surrounded by fellow visionaries, I found myself sharing ideas about applying Human Design to business planning. The passion was undeniable. Friends nudged me to pitch my concept to the publisher on the spot.
Terrified yet guided, I walked over and shared my vision: a book that structured Human Design insights through the lens of a traditional business plan. To my astonishment, they leaned in and said, “Tell me more.” That moment became the spark that ignited everything.
Writing Through Alignment
The writing process mirrored the very lessons I teach. It wasn’t about forcing myself into someone else’s method but aligning with my energy. I wrote in powerful bursts, grouping chapters around mission, business models, and momentum. Each section poured out like it had been waiting for years to be written.
But it wasn’t without challenges. Editing stretched me to confront old stories of unworthiness, imposter syndrome, and fear. Every rewrite was an invitation to grow, not just as a writer, but as a leader.
Lessons in Purpose and Persistence
This journey taught me a profound truth: whether writing a book or building a business, there is a process. It’s not about guessing or chasing every shiny strategy. It’s about alignment, structure, and trusting that your soul’s mission is worthy of being seen.
