There’s a particular season of business that feels both exhilarating and uncomfortable at the same time. Things are moving. The vision is landing. People are responding. And suddenly, the business you dreamed about is asking more of you than it ever has before.

This is what I’ve been calling the “It’s Working” era, and it’s one of the most important phases of entrepreneurship.

Not because everything is perfect. But because everything is alive

When Growth Asks You to Lead Differently

When your business starts to work, the rules change. What used to feel scrappy and manageable can suddenly feel overwhelming. You may notice your nervous system getting activated. You may feel the tension between wanting to do it all yourself and knowing — deep down, that you can’t anymore.

This is often the first real invitation into leadership.

Not performative leadership. Not hustle-driven leadership. But grounded, embodied CEO leadership.

The kind that requires clarity, boundaries, structure, and support.

You Were Never Meant to Do This Alone

One of the biggest myths in entrepreneurship is that doing it all yourself is a badge of honor. In reality, sustainable growth requires team, systems, and people who are designed to support the vision with you.

Building a business that works without burning you out means letting go of the idea that your value is tied to how much you personally do.

Your role begins to shift from executor to leader. From holding everything to guiding the direction. From “How do I get this done?” to “Who is meant to help me do this well?”

Nervous System Expansion Is Part of the Work

When your capacity expands, your nervous system has to expand too. Feeling stretched doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong, it often means you’re doing something new.

This phase asks for regulation, not retreat. Support, not self-criticism. And permission to let this level of success become your new normal.

This Is a Sacred Stage of Business
