167. Building the Right Business and What I Learned from Researching Human Design on YouTube
Mar 10, 2026
Are You Building the Right Business?
Many entrepreneurs start their businesses from a beautiful place: a desire to help people.
You’ve learned something powerful. You’ve developed a skill. You’ve experienced a transformation you want to share. And naturally, your first thought becomes: How can I turn this into a service?
But here’s the question that often gets missed in the early stages of entrepreneurship:
Are you actually building the right business for you?
Not just the right service.
Not just something people will pay for.
But the right business model, structure, and role based on who you truly are.
Because building a business is very different from delivering a service.
The Step Most Entrepreneurs Skip
In traditional business education, the first step is not deciding what you want to sell. The first step is understanding the market need and designing a business intentionally to meet it.
Yet many heart-centered entrepreneurs start in the opposite direction.
They think:
- “I’m a therapist.”
- “I’m certified in Human Design.”
- “I’m a healer.”
- “I’m a coach.”
And they immediately build a business around offering sessions.
There’s nothing wrong with these services. But without intentionally designing the business model itself, it’s easy to create something that feels heavy, misaligned, or unsustainable over time.
A business that looks good on paper… but doesn’t feel right in your day-to-day life.
Human Design + Practical Business Strategy
This is where Human Design becomes incredibly powerful — when it’s combined with real business planning.
Human Design helps you understand:
- How you’re designed to make decisions
- The role you’re meant to play in leadership
- The environments and structures where you thrive
- The ways your energy interacts with others
But alignment alone isn’t enough.
To build something sustainable, we also need the practical side of entrepreneurship: business models, market needs, strategic planning, and long-term vision.
When these two worlds come together, strategy and soul alignment, everything changes.
A New Way to Think About Your Business
Instead of asking:
“What service should I offer?”
Try asking:
- What kind of business do I actually want to build?
- What role do I want to play inside that business?
- What model supports both my Human Design and the people I’m meant to serve?
Because when the structure of your business is aligned with who you are, entrepreneurship stops feeling like constant effort.
And starts feeling like the thing you were always meant to create.
