FACULTY & FOUNDER SUCCESS TEAM
The faculty and staff of the Spiritual Business Incubator is made up of a diverse group of professionals from around the world. Drawing on a range of professional backgrounds, a depth of knowledge in Human Design, and lived business experience, the team is an integral part of the Incubator program delivery. We believe that high-touch support is the best way to support the founders inside the Incubator, so the faculty and staff will continue to grow in 2026 and beyond.

As Director of Alignment & Program Integration at the Spiritual Business Incubator, Irene McKenna guides entrepreneurs through the embodied work of becoming the CEO their business requires. She specializes in decoding the shadows, patterns, and protective identities hidden inside Human Design and the Gene Keys, then alchemizing them into clarity, confidence, and embodied leadership.
Outside the Incubator, Irene is a mom to an adult daughter and two teen boys, and a proud Gemmy to one adorable baby boy. She's also the devoted human of one adorable (and slightly demanding) pup. Irene lives in Western New York with her partner, but she's already dreaming about the not-so-distant future lying on a boat under hot sunshine with absolutely nowhere to be. When she's not guiding clients through shadow-to-strategy integration, you'll find her trying new recipes, eating shrimp tacos, walking in nature, chasing warm weather, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills. My foundation as an entrepreneur has come from lived experience first and education second. I grew up working in my family's business, earned my Master's in Business Administration, and then spent over 15 years building and supporting educational and service-based businesses, including a decade in higher education administration and a season as President of a K–12 school board. I understand how organizations start, how systems are built, and what responsible leadership actually requires.
Discovering Human Design gave language to what I had always known: entrepreneurs are not all meant to build businesses the same way. My intention for starting the Spiritual Business Incubator is to help mission-driven entrepreneurs build a purposeful, profitable, and sustainable business that makes a positive impact on the world for generations to come.
